Information & Referral Services

For over a decade, Health Resources in Action’s Information and Referral Services has been providing accurate health and human service information and referrals to people in need. Information and Referral Services builds and manages call centers addressing a host of health and social service needs so that customers and clients receive specialized and reliable responses from trained, knowledgeable specialists.

Health Resources in Action provides organizations, state and local government and communities with call center management including hiring and training of call center staff, multi-language services, back up systems, database development and management and metrics to determine the effectiveness and responsiveness of the call center.

The Massachusetts Substance Abuse Information and Education Helpline is a program run by HRiA that provides callers with information about substance abuse, substance abuse treatment options and referrals to treatment and related services.
